Winter Camping Rentals

Reservations are required and all of our winter camping rentals are a two day minimum. Rentals are per calendar day. To book your winter camping rentals, simply send us an email or fill out a rental inquiry.

We can meet for rentals at our store location in Kearney or at our home (just north of Huntsville)

TENTS/SHELTERS

North Face 4 Season Tents – $45/day

  • Mountain 25 – 2 person expedition series (9lbs)
  • VE – 3 person expedition series (10lbs)
  • Alpine Guide – 3 person hybrid (7lbs/8ozs)
  • Northstar 4 – 4 person family/basecamp (13lbs)

Shelters – $18/day

  • Black Diamond Mega Light (ultralight floorless shelter) – 2lbs
  • Rab Uni-shelter Bivy – 2.5lbs

Snowtrekker Hot Tents

*Please note – Our Hot Tents are only available for rent to those that have participated in one of our winter camping programs or with complete outfitting.

WINTER BAGS AND SLEEP SYSTEMS

To create the right sleep system you need layers. If you rent one of our sleeping bags we will also include a closed cell foam pad, insulated ground sheet and a wool blanket or liner if needed.

  • Mountain Hardware -30 sleeping bag – $24.00/day
  • MEC or North Face -18 sleeping bag – $20/day
  • Gortex Overbag – $6.00/day
  • Closed Cell Pad – ensolight/ridgerest – $3.00/day
  • MEC Vectair insulated pad with pump – R4.5 (includes a wool sleeve) – $10.00/day

TRAVEL GEAR

  • OAC Backcountry Skis (Snowshoe binding) – $30/day
  • Black Diamond Trekking Poles – $5.00/day
  • Snowshoes – Adult (Atlas Flex or 10 Series) – $25/day
  • Snowshoes – Adult (military magnesium) – $15/day
  • Snowshoes – Youth – $15
  • Pulk with harness (Generally a 4ft load) – $16/day
  • Siglin Pulk – (UMHW plastic, 5 or 6ft length options with a 40L pack) – $22/day
