RENTAL INFO
Please review all of the information below prior to submitting a rental request.
PFD’s are not included with our canoe and kayak rentals. If you are not renting PFD’s you must have your own properly fitting PFD for every member of your group. PFD rentals are a $5 flat fee per rental. All of our boat rentals include a safety kit (bail bucket, rope and a whistle), they do not have a flashlight, so bring one for each boat.
We have a full line of rental gear available and a full stocked retail store for all of your camping needs.

TIE DOWNS
We are happy to help with tie downs, but please note that not all vehicles are suitable.
- If your vehicle has panoramic sunroof you will need to have it delivered.
- We do not tie our kevlar canoes in the back of trucks unless you have a bed extender, please be prepared for it to go on the roof.
- If you have more than one canoe rented you need have a plan for the tie down, either multiple vehicles or long enough bars to fit two canoes. We will not stack them on top of each other.

DELIVERY
NEEDS TO BE PRE-BOOKED 72 hours in advance
We deliver canoes to Algonquin Park access points #2 (Tim River), 3 (Magnetawan Lake) and 4 (Rain Lake). The rate is $50.00 and includes the pickup for up to 5 canoes. With delivery you are still required to stop at our location before heading to your access point.
CANOE RENTALS
Rental rates are per calendar day. Canoe rentals include wood Redtail paddles and a safety kit.

ADD-ONS:
- Standard PFD – $5.00 per rental (flat fee, not charged per day)
- Yoke Pad – $2.00 per day
- NRS PFD Upgrade – $3.00 per rental day
- Dog PFD – $3.00 per day
- Canoe Delivery (Access point 2, 3 or 4) – $50.00
- Spare paddle or painter – No charge, but please let us know in advance if you require one.
RENTAL POLICIES AND INFORMATION
Rental charges are based on the number of calendar days equipment is away from our store, not the number of nights. We have a two day minimum on all rental gear.
Credit card information will be taken on arrival and is required for any rental. If you do not have a credit card, be prepared to leave a cash deposit and present valid photo identification (driver’s license, passport)
Deposits/Cancellation Fees
No deposit required at time of booking. If you have to cancel for any reason-give us a call as early as possible and we hope to see you again for a future trip. If cancelled with less than 24 hours notice you are required to pay for your full rental and the delivery fee. However with delivery, cancellations are required 72 hours in advance to avoid delivery fees.
Rental Waiver
You will be required to sign a rental release/waiver to acknowledge that you have experience in the activity you are participating in and that you are responsible for equipment rented.
Loss/Damage Policy
If rental equipment is returned damaged, the renter is responsible for repair costs. Replacement cost for lost/stolen/destroyed rental equipment is full retail value.
